Solitude (Wilcox)
"Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
. . Weep, and you weep alone;
For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,
. . But has trouble enough of its own."
Librivox volunteers bring you sixteen readings of Solitude by Ella Wheeler Wilcox. This was the weekly poetry project for November 2, 2014.
