Wet Magic (Version 3, Dramatic Reading)

Edith Nesbit never fails to charm, and this novel has it all: four imaginative children in search of adventure, accompanied by a lost "son and hare," kidnapped by a circus; a mermaid in need of rescuing who turns out to be a princess; a battle between Mer-Folk and Under-People (with their attendant fish, seahorses, lobsters, and porpoises); a struggle between good and evil Book People (with famous characters like Uriah Heap, Caliban, and Joan of Arc); forgetfulness, invisibility, and intangibility spells; and, thanks to the children, a happy ending. - Summary by Winnifred Assmann Cast list: Narrator: KevinS Francis: BarryHaworth Mavis, Voice from Outside, and Mrs. Squeers: Winnifred Assmann Kathleen: Jade Mansueto Bernard: FortunasVoice Reuben (Little Spangled Boy), Neighboring Porpoise, Mrs. Markham, Oyster Corporal, Cavalry Officer, and Curator of the Museum: Inkell Younger, Kinder Aunt, Mrs. Randolph, Dragon of Wantley, and Mermaid: ShrimpPhish Princess Maia: Nicole J.
